This booking is for the August Block of 5 dance classes. This booking runs from Wednesday 19th August until Wednesday 16th September 2026. This booking is for the 6:30-7:30pm class AND the 7:30-8:30pm class. Dancing to Gimme Gimme Gimme, the Mamma Mia Version. Location: Function Hall, Tullibody Community Centre, Abercromby Place, FK10 2RU A fun and inclusive dance class designed to improve flexibility, musicality and technique while having fun and being part of a supportive community. We dance to a range of different popular songs and dance classes are influenced by various different dance styles. We dance in comfortable clothing - fitness gear or leggings and a top are ideal. We usually dance in socks, heels may be optional for some routines but your instructor will advise if this is the case. Knee pads may be required for some routines. We dance each routine for 5 weeks, and then have an optional dress up and recording session at the end. Dance classes take inspiration from a range of different dance styles including but not limited to chair dance, acrochair, burlesque, line dancing, heels dance, tango and salsa. All choreography and moves can be altered to suit different experience levels and they are aimed to build confidence in the person and have fun. Some routines have an element of striptease, eg glove or shirt removal. This is usually over fitness clothing and entirely optional. About the Instructor: Meet Blondie Fizz / Katie A classic showgirl with a darker twist, Blondie Fizz blends innocence with the art of seduction. As an international performer who has graced stages across the globe - from the USA to Italy - she brings over six years of qualified dance teaching experience. She leads the community with sessions focused on choreography, musicality, and the rich history of burlesque and chair dance. In her muggle life, Blondie has 2 young children and is a strong advocate for the neurodiverse community, based on her own lived experience. She is the co founder of The Autism Parent Sanctuary, a group that supports families with a child with autism. Blondie enjoys reading psychological thrillers, cooking and spending time with her wee family.
