Service Description
NAME: Rockstar chaos: A Musicality workshop with award winning Goth Pin Up Baby Hart. Location: Tullibody Civic Centre, Abercromby Place, Tullibody ABOUT THE WORKSHOP: This workshop is all about breaking music down and bringing it into your body. We’ll explore how to interpret different elements of a song—from instruments and rhythms to melody and lyrics—so your movement feels more connected, intentional, and you. Expect a mix of guided exercises, improvisation, and a short piece of choreography at the end to bring everything together. This is a supportive, all-levels space where you’ll be encouraged to explore your own natural movement style. Come get a little weird with your musicality. Over 2 weeks we will look at both classic and neo burlesque examples to help stretch your understanding of musicality in different types of music. 👠 Heels optional 👕 Wear whatever you feel powerful moving in (there is no strip element to this workshop) 💫 Just bring yourself and an open mind ABOUT ME: Taught by Baby Hart—award-winning burlesque performer with a background in dance and music. With a lifelong relationship to movement, Baby began dancing at the age of two and has continued to develop her performance style across multiple disciplines. Her background in music, studied at college level, deeply informs her approach to performance—particularly her focus on musicality, rhythm, and interpretation, which she now brings into her teaching. As an award-winning burlesque artist, Baby has cultivated a distinctive style that merges technical awareness with raw, authentic expression. Her workshops are rooted in this balance, encouraging performers to connect more deeply with music while embracing their individuality and instinct. An advocate for those living with chronic illness, Baby also uses her platform to document and educate others on what it’s like to live and perform with kidney failure through her personal online series, Diary Of A Sic Girl. Bringing warmth, openness, and a strong sense of inclusivity into her spaces, she is passionate about creating environments where everyone feels supported to explore, learn, and move with confidence.
